Game crashes upon loading

Help needed. I sent a crash report, but got no feedback, so I'm asking here.

Haven't played since v1.4.22 and now (v1.4.24) the game crashes every time I try loading a campaign save. It actually loads the game state correctly and shows me a blurred area with the error message, then, for a second or so, an almost clear image with my tech and all the UI elements before quitting. Could the issue be caused by me being in the middle of "The Slippery Slope" mission between the updates? Autosave didn't help (same issue), but I can start a new campaign without any problem.

Did now, no problem. I didn't really expect any, because it runs normally otherwise.

Next common step is to go through your Hardware Drivers, especially Graphics Card, & check for Driver Updates. This one's real easy to forget about.

im having the same issue, cant load a game and cant start a new one, crashes everytime. I have tried verifying, check all hardware drivers and their up to date, and even uninstalled, deleted folder and re installed and still same issue.

This issue is seeming more common then i thought when it happened to me, hopefully dev team is working on it, i know ive have submitted about 20 bug reports from each crash.

Damn... that's all the ideas I had. Only remaining idea I can think of is when submitting Bug Reports, try to include the Game Build Version, Graphics Card Driver Version, & OS Species & Version. Sometimes rare bugs happen only to certain Hardware Drivers &/or OS related problems can screw stuff up in games through no fault of the game... Windows, i'm especially glaring at you when I say that... Oh, ultra rarely problems can happen from the Motherboard/BIOS... real rare edge case stuff like this can be among the hardest kinds of issues to track down & squash.

DXDiag can come in handy for Bug Reports too, but i've only done it once in a long time & then I keep forgetting how to do it & keep having to be re-told or look it up how to do it. Also I forget if different Windows OS Versions have different instructions on it...

I'm wondering why do you assume it's a system problem, when I said it only happens if I load an existing save.

And yes, my system is up-to-date.

I don't know if it's a System Problem, I just find these tend to be better safe than sorry to check just in case.
