Repair Mechanisms?
So, since multiplayer is all but coming and there's a sale going on, I'm on the fence about buying this, but there's one thing that isn't too clear from all the vids and I couldn't even find via the forum search (at least in the first 5 pages). It is, however crucial for being able to sell this to my buddies for MP purposes later on.

If you build a vehicle, are you then able to save that blueprint or whatever, and if parts get knocked out or completely destroyed, can you then just go to a shop and choose a certain "Repair" option that will then buy and replace all the missing parts?
I know there's a repair bubble thing that repairs HP damage to individual blocks or something, but that doesn't help when parts break off completely, right?

I just play a lot of these engineering type games, and some do it well (From the Depths would be a good example), whereas others (Space Engineers comes to mind) are downright tedious in that you not only have to notice what actually broke, you also have to fiddle it back together piece by piece only to be blasted apart again a few secs later.

There's shield bubbles, and you can save a snapshot of your tech to re-buy later. It costs the game's currency though, which is gained from selling blocks and resources at trading stations.
The healing bubbles are good enough early-game, but later on you'll need a lot of batteries as well as shield bubbles to defend against the gunbricks once you get bigger techs.
Soo the snapshot thing has to be bought completely, or can it also just partially restore your vehicle? The shield spamming does remind me of other games, though.

Has to be bought completely. However, it's easy enough to snag parts from the dude you blew up to replace the parts on yours.

Also, there is a storage system, so as long as you have one anchored somewhere on the ground (literally anywhere) you can just snag a part from storage put it where it needs to go. Putting it back into storage, however, requires the storage item to be close by.

I fully recommend grabbing this... it is a fun game, well worth the money.

Also, there is a demo, seriously, try it out. It's fun.

Partial restore (or repair-from-snapshot) may be something we add eventually. But right now - you can only purchase entire Techs from previously saved Snapshots.
