purpose of making small hawkeye vehicles?
Wouldnt a small creation be easy to break anyways, even with hawkeye armour which is more costly than building out of cheap geocorp or venture parts, why not just build a super tank out of hawkeye. Im not the best at building in this game, so i wanna think of practical reasons for this in something like a campaign.

a small hawkeye vehicle works about the same as a venture small vehicle due to how hawkeye weapons work compared to venture. the only real differences are block durability and wheel types with some loss in speed to balance the bonus armor. this is how it goes in my experience, it might not be the only way to make a small hawkeye tech though.

alright, i was just thinking a hawkeye vehicle that isnt like a tank or whatever would just generally not be a great idea, considering venture is much cheaper and small techs arent gonna survive very easily, even with extra armor plating.

haha, i made a tiny little tank destroyer which consists of a small base 3 blocks long and 2 blocks wide, then i slapped an mk3 battleship cannon on top of it, some wedge armor all around to protect the sides a little, some medium tracks, in the back i had to put a wedge facing down with some stabilizer wheels because the recoil would launch it backwards, but after that i had "the pocket tank destroyer"
i kid you not i was taking out enemies about 8x my size.

Yeah a small hard to hit hawkeye tech paired with a stupidly powerful weapon is very effective, but most of the time for small efficient techs i will use 4-6 venture avalanche launchers because of it being rapid fire, range, and explosive capabilities compared to the gigaton and battleship cannons which take so long to reload that if you miss you could easily be killed by a stronger enemy (especially those that spam machine guns and explosives combined)

I know how to build tanks from the hawkeye corporation and what?

I'd say building small mostly useful if you want to make a helicopter or plane. For hawkeye specifically, as far as I know there aren't even any other factions that let you build helicopters (might be wrong though, haven't played in a while) and it could also be some style thing, like maybe some people (like me, for example) just like how hawkeye looks so they simply prefer to use hawkeye over anything else regardless of whether making a small and fast scout like vehicle, an aircraft, or a regular tank.

small craft are faster in general but big techs are easier to just shoot stuff and not worry about moving. I have two techs. one large and one small for the very reason I get bored of crawling at a snails pace sometimes and just want to mix it up.

Mostly because it's fun and I enjoy the challenge of making small builds work despite them not being optimal in most combat situations. Some of my favorite builds have been small builds (like a hovercraft that fits inside a single Venture shield bubble). Hawkeye blocks make it possible so they generally don't get popped by a cruise missile or two.
