How do I change a tech in R & D to be an enemy

what do i press to change the team of a tech I built?

Clikc the tech, not the red/blue sign over it.

Are you in R&D? Are you holding T? Are you clicking the tech itself, and not any popups that appear near it? Is it a neutral tech?

Same here, has this changed? I am in R&D, clicking a tech I spawned in, am not controlling it, can hold T all I want, controls says it is bound to change team. Nothing works.

Go to manage techs in the bottom left corner go to the tech you want to change press on where it says player (the mini arrow) then click enemy

Ok, I went on R&D to do battles between techs, I couldn't get it to work, people said click and T or hover mouse over and press T. I tried that, nothing. I go to controls, and R&D tech team is not registered so I was like "Oh ok, let me fix that" but (of course lol), but it won't let me switch it, I can do it with other buttons, but that specific one won"t let me have it, and I have the DLC and all. So I have no idea what to do.

Click on the vehicle Icon on the lower left edge of your screen/window. that brings up your tech manager, and lets you set techs from Player to Enemy.
