Hoovercrafts
Hello,

i start the new Future Tech Missions and i must say that the Controls from Hovercrafts and the Time trials are a pain.

Make sure you are using hovercraft control set with hovercrafts... otherwise, bad things happen...

I have the Hovercraft Control active. Still Horrible to "fly" and "drive".

I agree, controls are horrible. Been waiting to play this for some time and very disappointed as almost all missions I get to unlock tech are racing/time trials.

Was impossible to do the trials due to landscape and spawning enemy techs. I ended up ignoring the trials and just kept checking for "destroy this" type missions. Didnt take long to max out.

agreed. i somehow eventually make it thru the races, but they are annoying af. i love the better future stuff tho

most hovers tend to perform better with a rudder on the back

Just cheese them. Make a tech small enough to drive through the rings. This is what I did for the tutorial. And for the ones raised off the ground. Spawn the default hover craft they gave you, switch to it and fly through the ring then back to your other tech. There's no need for these missions honestly.

nah, the small tech thing definitely won't work, especially for that last bit with the raised hoops. occupies too much time. the races may be hard, but with enough modifications you can make a decently controllable and fast hover. some race tracks you just can't do with a normal tech

eh, i wouldn't stick with that tech for a long time. like others have pointed out, the first tech is hard to control. after all, terra tech isn't about using premade vehicles, its about making your own special one. design your own hover, and make it better, faster, more manuverable, possibly even weaponize it.

Yes, Problem is to have the Parts first and the Skills to create a Hoovercraft. I downloaded some Hoovercrafts from Steam workshop, but my motivation play further is very low. The Controls so Horrible.

1. I need my right Hand for the Mouse to look around otherwise i cant drive BUT i need too the right Hand for the Arrow keys up and down.

2. The Overall Handling is worse this Hovercrafts have a Huge Problem with simple left-right manoeuvres.

3. The Cam is not allways helpfull

after all its a disaster how they made them...
