HE batteries are tougher.
Venture batteries are the lightest.
GC Batteries are the largest.
GSO 1 block = 1 500
GeoCorp 1 block = 1 500x8(for full battery capacity)=12000
Venture 1 block = 750
Power units per block for each battery
the most space efficient is Hawkeye
So Hawkeye is most efficient for space? I'll have to be doing some redesigning then as I thought GeoCorp had the best batteries!
Also how did you get 12,000?
Not 12000.
How does the HE battery stack up to 2x GSO batteries for weight?
Edit: did a quick test. HE is slightly heavier that two GSO batts.
2 - From the wiki : The GeoCorp Battery Pack is a heavy, strong battery. It can be used to power shields and repair bubbles.
This battery has the highest capacity of all the batteries, and is also more durable. However, it is also much heavier. It holds as much energy as 8 GSO Small Battery Cells, Or roughly 12,000 Energy units.
Quite a lot of items in the wiki are outdated and that includes the stats of the batteries.
The real stats of each battery at this moment are:
Geocorp:
Health: 1296
Weight: 24
Power storage: 14000
GSO:
Health: 250
Weight: 3
Power storage: 1500
Venture:
Health: 200
Weight: 1
Power storage: 1500
Hawkeye:
Health: 800
Weight: 8
Power storage: 3500
Edit: LOOK! new batteries! lol
and they did something with the other batteries... 2 of my techs have no batteries at all in them now... a strange thing as i now have to rebuild the whole ships now lol - i build tech with the batteries and fuel in the core and build around them
thas exactly why i take snapshots of my fav techs after finishing a play session. it can save stuff like the ships ya mentioned. maybe you could just send all blocks to inventory and the snapshot would put the batteries back in when deployed? idk, tho it might work.
i am trying to get the ship to be as light weight as it can be, while still having enough battery to get through a day/night cycle with the anti grav on or get through the whole gauntlet in the r&d without needing to recharge
its just annoying that the core had to be rebuilt after the patch. makes me wonder what was done to the other batteries lol
