Where to find Carbite Ore?
Doing a Crafty Mike mission (my absolute favorite missions) and he needs Carbius Brick, what I know comes from carbite ore, but I can't find where or how to get it. Please help (I know this might be a noob question) And at the same time I'm doing the Carbite Minner mission

he is doing a mission, read the damn thing

by the time of this mission's occurence the player does have access to (at least) a GSO scrapper which can be set up next to the base included with the mission where it is indeed possible to scrap blocks (usually a couple wide guage lasers / radar blocks / shield & repair bubbles) to gain the required resources needed to recraft the boosters.

Of course, there is always the alternative of merely scrapping a booster of that type if one is available in player block inventory / nearby GSO trading station.

Additionally, carbius is also available in the Ice biome.

Actually the thing is that I'm GSO level 5 yet still do not have a GSO scrapper. What level shoud/should've I goten it on?

Level progression won't necessarily give you a particular block, just the ability to buy or craft it. When you reach the maximum level for a corporation, you'll be given a payload terminal block which lets you buy any of that corporation's blocks, so you don't have to rely upon a trading station having one in stock.

However: the Craftier Business II mission gives you the GSO scrapper (it's part of the base for that mission).

I have even done Craftier Dusiness III and don't have it, and I can't buy it either.

If you don't have it, it means you either didn't deconstruct the base from Craftier Business II, or you managed to lose the scrapper since then.

If you can't buy it, either you lost the payload terminal you got from getting GSO lvl 5 (they're easy enough to build, only need simple components, no dongles), or you aren't looking hard enough (it's under manufacturing blocks).

That is actually wrong. There is more rare biomes in the game. And it is possible that you just havent found all the biomes yet. ;)
Citation needed. Are you mistaking sub-biomes with biomes? Biomes are like desert, sub-biomes are high and low desert. Ive been pretty far from origin and still havent found a salt flat yet. I have a quest to find carbarite, so I have been looking. As soon as these seems finish Ill tear down my factories and just head i guess south? i woudl assume that going north woudl find the arctic biome.

The main biomes are (in order of rarity) grasslands, desert, mountains, salt flats. Most of the map is grasslands, most of the rest is desert. Mountains are less common but you'll bump into them eventually. Salt flats ... you usually have to spend significant effort searching for them (you might spawn right next to one, but you usually won't).

There are others which are rarer still, but they don't have any resources which aren't in the main four.

The best way to search for salt flats (or other rare biomes) is in a plane. GSO level 3 or Venture level 2 is sufficient to get the parts. Salt flats are almost-white and very flat.
