Where to find Carbite Ore?
Doing a Crafty Mike mission (my absolute favorite missions) and he needs Carbius Brick, what I know comes from carbite ore, but I can't find where or how to get it. Please help (I know this might be a noob question) And at the same time I'm doing the Carbite Minner mission

You need to find a salt flat biome. There are sparkly rocks there which contain carbite.

Ok, thanks QuackDuck.

Do any of you also know where I can get Hawkeye blocks?

You need to unlock the license. Should get a mission for that after you hit gso license lvl 3 or 4.
Edit : probably 4. At 2 you get geo corp, then at 3 venture.

There are a couple of recipes which need raw carbite ore (e.g. both the GSO and GeoCorp refineries need it).

The salt flats are the least common biome, so you may have to do a fair amount of scouting to find one. Once you have the GSO grade 3 licence, you can build a plane, which can help. If you don't want to wait for that, another option is to start a creative mode game with the same seed, then you can build a plane straight away.

I have noticed at least some recipes that accept ore will also use ingots/bricks etc. Its just they dont require the material to be refined first. Failing that, you can use the refined material to make somethign that uses it and then scrap it for the ore.

That is actually wrong. There is more rare biomes in the game. And it is possible that you just havent found all the biomes yet. ;)

WHY NOT JUST SCRAP SOME BLOCKS OBTAINED FROM ENEMIES? MUCH MORE EFFICIENT THAN MINING AND SAVE YOUR EFFORT SEEKING FOR NATURAL RESOURCES.

One more thing, when can I buy a GSO Scrapper and a electric gauge? (I think it's called, it's the thing that shows you how much electricity you have)

Salt flats are not the least common biome, I found it within 2 minutes with a gigantic ass vehicle with GSO and geocorp wheels
