As you progress further, you should unlock "SCU" blocks, too, that you can place anywhere to do the same.
Alternatively, I think you can make something where you have blocks attached to each other (for which you will need either at least 1 extra cab, at least 1 AI module, or at least 1 block that can anchor to the ground), then you can right-click on it and choose "Send to inventory" to send all of the individual blocks of it to the inventory.
In all of these cases, I'm not sure if they are still true for the current version of TerraTech, nor specifically when these things occur/become possible.
unfortunately, i have no clue what lvl each does this at lol. now i want to start a new game and see. of course that will take a good long while ....
When I came close to the last trading station I found, there was a sort of "black hole" bound to the station, and all the loose items catched by my magnets were absorbed and got into my inventory. I suppose this is what you call SCU.
Well then, I'll be patient until I can buy an SCU block.
It's a strange choice from the devs to use such a block to get items into inventory...
I think you should be able to do so with any items right clicking on it.
A kink of container bindable to collectors and magnets could be useful too...
All the other corps SCUs unlocks at their max grade, that is 3.
If you did the turret defense mission then there is a black hole thing on one of the sides of the trading stations. Put loose blocks near it and they will be moved to your inventory after a few seconds.
