If you have an anchor-able block at the bottom of your Tech (such as solar panels or blocks containing "anchor" in the name), you might be able to click an "anchor" button in the (I think) bottom-left corner of the screen to anchor to the ground, which will extend/activate solar panels at day time.
(Edit: And yes, you can click the same button again to un-anchor from the ground later.)
I tried to move them to the back , moved 2 lights , so they could hang behind the vehicle , just above ground .
Found the anchor you mentoined , and that worked . I could also take the anchor off again .
Thank you , that helped .
If anchoring doesn't work, check placement, and gound level. :)
I don´t think I saw a build beam yet , but I will keep my eye out . Thank you .
I don´t see how that beam has anything to do with anchor stability . It just lifts your vehicle into the air , and drops it back down . Only real need I see for this one , is when your vehicle is upside down .
Sorry about post before , I thought it was a useable object in the game .
The 'build beam to anchor' is a good...I'm not sure if "expoit" is the right word....but it's a good trick to getting something anchored for either bases or vehicles for, in this case the solar panels.
It doesn't always work. But moreso than just pushing the anchor button. :)
