I would suggest posting this concern with additional information (specifically the output_log.txt and any autogenerated crash folders ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JOAUl14B0s )
In the mean time since the issue *might* be graphically related I can offer you two quick suggestions which might resolve the issue.
1) Try "opt-ing" into an older version such as 0.7.8 / 0.7.7 from the steam library "beta" menu
If this does not work for some reason try the multiplayer branch (odd suggestion but ultimately the current multiplayer build is based off of the stable "core" of the program code from a while ago and would determine if there was something fundamentally off regarding your hardware configuration (such as attempting to run Terratech using an embedded intel 4000 hd )
2) If you are still encountering difficulties my suggestion would be to uninstall Terratech via Steam , reboot your computer and then reinstall Terratech yet again, but this time going into your files manually and deleting your userdata/sav file as discussed regarding a resolution issue here : https://steamcommunity.com/app/285920/discussions/0/1621724915774915154/
Also, it is suggested that you do not attempt to change the game resolution / quality settings from the intial boot window and only make such changes after the game has successfully loaded and started a campaign / creative save as was discussed some time ago here: https://forum.terratechgame.com/index.php?threads/0-7-6-1-rerresolution-bug.12442/#post-77346
I look forward to your reply, hopefully these measures will resolve your difficulties.
Since 0.7.7 I have merely left the default settings which tend to be 1920x1080 @ Fantastic and then set accordingly once my savegame has loaded (usually for the laptop it prefers 720p @ simplest since it is running a rather slow mobile i7)
If you have futher difficulties feel free to reply to this thread / post them directly upon the official forum ( https://forum.terratechgame.com/index.php ) which is usually the best and fastest way to engender a response from a member of the delelopment team.
Additionally, once you are ready to begin crafting with "parseen / rammet" feel free to check out some of the fabrication tech's I've designed ( https://forum.terratechgame.com/index.php?threads/community-core-submit-archive.13774/#post-89521 ) along with consulting @ZeroGravitas's Crafting Guide. DISABLE MSI Afterburner or Rivatuner Statistics !!
or anything with frametime monitoring.
Error code: Write to location 80004484 caused an access violation.
I can finally play the game :)
How you'd do that?
set the game on fast graphics and hope that the authorise access appears before the game crashes , if that happens and you auhorise then it will solve the problem like how it did for me
