How do you defend against HawkEye Cruise missiles?

I just faced the first missile tech with working cruise missiles since they have been introduced and let me tell you, my puny anti grav fighter didnt stand a chance once it got a lock.

Having shields placed as far out as possible helps detonate the missile earlier, allowing less of the resultant explosion to get to the main body of your tech.
Venture repair bubbles are very good at helping resist explosions, as the have the highest healing rate. Place them in vulnerable locations, preferably with a Hawkeye repair bubble as well if you have the space and energy.

Also using the GSO regular armor can be good agains it, I build it like spaced armor, using brackets or blocks to create a surface where it can detonate without hurting vital componets, it works on the same principle of placing shields far out, also I if possible use havoc shields as it has big coverage area

Or just dodge. Cruise missiles have trouble hitting small vehicles, or fast ones, or dealing with terrain.
