As many as you have... I place every battery, every solar panel, and every charger on a base. Sometimes even a geothermal.
1. Have a SCU planted somewhere, so I can access my inventory everywhere.
2. Place ALOT of solar panels from your inventory.
3. Place alot of chargers on the solar panels.
4. Place a SCU beside it.
5. When your fully charged, just remove the base again and place the SCU on your tech.
Yeah then what Zargn said. 2 SCUs. One planted somewhere and one that you take with you on your tech. One thing i have noticed is that solar panels on their own dont seem to transfer to wireless chargers at the rate that they actually produce power, so i use a battery or two (one geocorp battery will suffice) as well.
You don't actually need 2 SCU's. One on your tech will suffice and you can simply plant it when you need access to your block inventory to pull the solar panels out. However if your SCU is destroyed because another tech snuck up on you while you were charging, then you will have to find a trading post to buy another SCU before you can charge again. With 2 SCUs you can leave a terminal in your inventory and always have access to it if you need to buy another SCU, or even more solar panels and chargers if they get destroyed by a marauding tech.
4 giant techs with huge amout of batteries
Have a good one [8D)
