1 Controller 2 players..

I have 2 PS4 controllers which work fine on every other game, but on Gang beasts. When I go to click versus mode and it says "Press A / start to join game" I press X on my PS4 controller and Player 1 & Player 2 are both bound to that one controller. Same as controller 2 is bound to Player 3 & 4.

Is there a way to have player 1 on controller 1 and same for number 2.

Hide DS4 using the options.

I have tried to do that soon as I press X on the controller to ready up Player 2 joins the game. I think it's something to do with the input menu is there a way to restore it to default I have already tried to reinstall game that didn't work.

I know this is and old thread, but you don't need DS4 to use your PS4 controllers with gangbeasts. Just close DS4 completely (background and all) and sync your controllers to your bluetooth adapter through windows. They won't light up blue but will just light up white and everything should work fine. I had the same problem as you when I tried to use DS4 with my controllers. Apparently DS4 translates the DirectInput that the PS4 controller uses into Xinput, and gangbeasts reads both types of inputs. As a result, you're getting two responses for each button press. That's the gist of it anyway.
