New controls on Android
Dear,

We do not all got Controllers for our PC, but we all have a Smartphone, shouldn't you propose to control the character with the phone ?

It would be AWESOME ! :D

Uh, honestly, I don't ever think they would make it so an Android phone could be used as a controller. They've never said anything about it from what I know, and I don't think they'll ever consider it.

But I don't mean to speak for them, they maybe might, eh?

The screen of the phone would be filled with buttons and would be super clunky because of it. There would be a total of 8 buttons on one small rectangular screen.

It is already possible !

With Ultimate Gamepad from Negusoft ! :o

I tested, it works without any other configuration, BUT sometimes one button is "unpressed" for no reason. Pretty hard then when the guy is ungrabbed :(

I think Unity already has plugins you can buy for this very purpose, but I can't imagine grabbing would be very easy. Also it's hard to say if that would fix your "unpressed" button problem since it still wouldn't exactly be native support.

Just my opinion though.

Not trying to anger anyone, but I think playing on keyboard would work better than this.
