Playing as Brutes?

in the 0.3.3 patch notes at the bottom. it said something about setting controls for brutes or something. im a bit confused as to what its supposed to mean. i just need someone to clear it up.

Lets say your player 1,
Hold Shift and press 1 to spawn a small controllable A.I,
Hold CTRL and press 1 to spawn a controllable Brute.

If you want the A.I to fight you insted of being controled then hold Shift (for small) or CTRL (for big) and press 9.

If you want player 2 to control some A.I; insted of pressing Shift/CTRL and 1, you would press Shift/CTRL and 2. The same goes for players 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

Also if you have 2 players mapped, spawn the one you aren't playing as
