Laughing a bit annoying?
I get that this game is hilarious, watching these chubby, nubby, gelatinous little people flail about and fight and lift and throw and climb is great fun, but does anyone else feel like the automated, ever-present voice-over chuckles and sounds are a bit much?

I thought this game was hilarious due to how silly it was, both in concept and execution. A couple of builds ago I played a few matches with my brother, and I was laughing hysterically for a while. I come back to play it just today and I find that the voice-over forced laughter the characters incessantly utter actually subtracts from the inherent hilarious silliness already present in what's going on on-screen.

Gang beasts is great and hysterical because of what's happening, and as such it feels a little too forced when your characters are constantly laughing too. There's something much more funny about completely silent little bobble-headed people beating each other senseless.

It also, frankly, gets a little obnoxious after a while.

I'm also annoyed by the laughing, the game was already silly enough, there was no need to implement those stupid laughs.

I hope they add an option to disable it.

Well. You can disable vocal(Laugh sounds) in settings(0.3.4 its named Character, in 0.0.8 Online Beta build its Vocal Volume).
But characters will laugh, but with no sound, like with other things(They doing some other sounds besides laugh).

I found it odd as well. In fact, I regularly think about it, despite rarely playing this game.

I find that things are more funny when more people are laughing; more so when they are stupid-looking colourful men.

They used to have deep grunts and groans which fit much better.

The only redeeming feature of the laughs is that one set of laughs (I think the one for player 3) has one particular laugh that sounds like they got a child version of Dusty Hill from ZZ Top to voice it, and that is magical.

Does anybody hear like little kids laughing in the menu? A little creepy if it's from the game.
