Insane lag.
I have been having problems with lag with this game. I've tried it with my i5 computer and my brothers i7 computer and it still runs terribly. His computer can run pretty much any game on high graphics but when it comes to gang beasts, it lags like crazy on certain levels and when too many baddies spawn in survival. Is there a way to fix this? We already tried changing all the power settings and ect. And we lowered the graphics and res to the lowest, and it still lags. Help?

How much space do you have left on your computer?

Before I got my current PC, my PC before this had an i5 processor. I don't remember which i5 it was specifically, but I think it was a more middle-higher end one in 2013.

When I first got the game, it ran fine on that PC (it was shortly after I had done a factory reset I think), but I used to be absolutely terrible at keeping my PC clean. Over the months after I got this game, the game (and all my games) got slower and slower over time, because there was a ♥♥♥♥ ton of things on my computer.

So what I'm getting at is, do you have a ton of things on your computer? If so, clean it up, it should make a huge difference. Especially clean up your desktop and such too if needed.

No, it's not about space, or how clean my desktop is. My brothers laptop has over 200GB of space on his computer. And he JUST got it.

Actually, space does have quite a lot to do with it. More storage usage results in slower loading times. Also, more desktop icons can slow your computer down a lot. So...

Btw, I couldn't tell whether your post was talking about both your computer and his computer being slow, or if it was just his, I assumed it was both yours and his PCs.

  • Try verifying the game cache.
  • If that doesn't work then do a full reinstall - You must make sure every GB files is removed off the computer prior to reinstall for the best effect.
  • Alternatively, play in a different version to see if it changes.

Yes, I know space mattters -.- I was saying in this situation it doesn't. And I've also already tried all 3 of those actions...

Btw, yes it does lol.

If you had only the factory new apps on a PC, then Steam and one game, that game would practically be running the best it can based of the specs of the machine.

If you had tons of space used up, and you tried running the same game, you'd see a noticable performance drop because your computer has a ton of ♥♥♥♥ on it, causing for slower loading times which impacts framerate too.

CLEARLY with your polite responce, the effected PC doesn't have a lot of storage used up. So, my next assumption to why his PC is running the game slow is because he may have some malware installed.

Oh, hey, something else I want to ask.

Does your bros computer have a graphics card built into it too or does it just have a cpu (the i7)?

Turn down the resolution

Yea turning down the resolution would help without a doubt, but there seems to be something else going on here.

Unless they are running this game at 1080p with max settings expecting to get 60fps. Then lmfao there is no way an i7 can do that. I have a gtx 970m graphics card and ♥♥♥♥ sometimes this game drops down to like 30fps in some cases (when there are a lot of physics going on, just a plain map then I can get 60fps). Then when I spam maybe 20-30 NPC's the game drops down to under 10fps.

Tbh not a lot of information was given when blackbriar reported this.

Once again I'm saying space DOESN'T matter in this situation because he has over 200GB free. So it's OBVIOUSLY not that. I know a good deal about computers, and if my i5 that only has 50GB free can run the game just as good as my brothers i7 which has over 200GB free, then there is somethin wrong with the game.

And you're doing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ job at it. Can you get lost so I can get help from people who actually know how to fix the problem?

Am I doing a ♥♥♥♥ job?

  1. I see someone who is having issues, I spend my time to attempt to help you.
  2. I read the post, all you say is that there are performance issues but give minimal information WHICH FORCES ME to ask a range of questions.
  3. You reply with an answer telling me what I said has nothing to do with it.
  4. I tell you that you are wrong
  5. Then you agree with me, but then tell me it doesn't apply in this situation. WHICH I DIDN'T KNOW BECAUSE YOU HADN'T SAID IT BEFORE.
  6. I go on to explain why space matters.
  7. I then ask a question, which you don't answer.
  8. Darkjanggo recommends something, but you ignore it.
  9. I state some stuff, then you repeat to tell me how space doesn't have anything to do with the situation.
  10. I then repeat my questions to you, but you again ignore them (these questions, if you'd actually answer them could help out a lot here).
  11. You then ignore them again and go on to tell me I'm doing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ job.

I'm doing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ job? How about getting that huge stick out of your ass and try to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cooperate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It seems like I'm doing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ job because you are hard as ♥♥♥♥ to work with. Like for ♥♥♥♥ sake, get your ♥♥♥♥ together moron.

How much ram you got fam?
BlackBriar May 3, 2016 @ 8:40pm
You really are stupid. You wanna talk like that? Okay,

1. I DID say that we had lots of space. RIGHT in my second comment.
2. I ignored Darkjanggo's comment because it said CLEARLY in my post that we had already tried lowering the res, and turned down the graphics.
3. When I said it wasn't about space, you said it was because blah blah blah. When really I meant it didn't matter in this situation, because you were to stupid to see I was talking about us. Anyone with a computer knows that too much space slows a computer and creates problems. I was OBVIOUSLY talking about MY situation.
4. You are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless since you can't provide an actual solutions to my problem. You're just spurting out computer tips 101 acting like you know ♥♥♥♥.
5. You then said AGAIN that space matters after I already said it didn't! He had over 200GB free on his computer, which I had already said, and you came back saying again that it is a problem.
6. You then go on to say a HUGE comment on how we might be running the game in high p , and that lowering the res would help. When I had already said in my original post that we had already tried lowering res and graphics.

Stop acting like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ smartass and go help someone with a problem you can actually help with. Like how to wipe their own ass.
