Is online multiplayer safe?
I've had some issues with player-hosted servers from other games attacking my pc in the past, so now I'm just anxious about this game's new online multiplayer feature.

It isn't a new feature, and there are no player hosted servers anyway.

Sorry, I should have said that it was just open to the public now. I was too late purchasing the game to get a key.
