I am not affiliated with this game, just a player. I also use a controller, and am unfamiliar with keyboard controls for GB. Good luck, and maybe search around the forum for people that may have had a similar problem to what you are experiencing, and you may find the answers you are looking for.

Usually people use an Xbox controller to play and by default jump is "A" on the controller, so just press jump.

The wording is confusing and will be replaced soon, you should be able to move to the next screen by pressing the space bar.
