Title Screen pitch black-Bug

The game loads with the double fine logo then followed by a black empty black screen. When I move my mouse I can hear the sound played when I go over a button on the title screen, but I can't see a thing. I am running the game on a mac with a 1.3 GHz Intel Core i5 processor.

Mac OSX Problem

the game runs, but when the meat falls on the characters all I get is a black screen, is there a way to make the game run in a window first so I don't get a full screen error.

Halp! Black screen and broken xbox controller?? (Mac)

Uh hi, I'm on a mac and when I launch Gang Beasts I see the intro and and hear everything but then the screen goes black and I can't see anything but I hear the sounds when I hover over a button. One time I got it to work but my xbox controller (Which works perfectly fine for all my other games) couldn't do anything. Thx for helping im really confused, just some nub, ~BjF

Mac Not Working

Whenever I start the game on Mac, it has the normal start, and then when it reaches the title screen, it is just black, then I press a button and it closes the app and makes steam say that the game is still open. I know the game is on early acsess, so I figured it was just something that it was just a bug. It would be nice to get this bug fixed for the Mac users. :)

Sorry for the inconvenience, the issue happens on systems with integrated GPUs (like iMacs and MacBooks), we are working with the developers of the Unity game engine (the game engine the Gang Beasts is built with) to identify a solution for the issue.

The issue only affects specific configurations of graphics quality and screen resolution settings, to use a setting that is compatible with your computer you can modify the settings, the fastest way to do this is to press the CMD and ESCAPE keys or the CMD and F keys when the game is running, this will leave the fullscreen mode (forcing the game to draw in Windowed mode).

This should make the game render as expected, from the Start screen go to the 'Options' menu and select the highest screen resolution setting (you can use the mouse or the 'W' and 'S' keys to scroll through menu items and modify / select them with the 'CTRL' and 'Space' keys or with mouse clicks), to save the modified resolution settings select the 'Return to Main Menu' option.

You can also modify the resolution settings in the default Unity settings window by holding the 'ALT' key when the game is launched.

Please let us know if you still have issues after trying the instructions.

The quickest way it to press the CMD and F keys together, from the menu select the 'Options' menu and set the highest resolution for your display, this should resolve the issue. For reference the issue affects systems with integrated GPU, we are collating information for Unity to identify a permanent solution.

my games are working just fine but my online stuff outside of the game are pitch black!!!!!(glitch) HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
