how do you throw ?

Momentum, grab them (with both arms if possible as throwing with just one is really hard) then get a bit of momentum by walking (or running, which is even better), spinning in place or walking/running with a curved motion torwards the place you wanan throw them (which is the one that works best) then start lifting them when you get close to it; once you are almost at the peak of the lift, let go of them and the momentum will launch them up, plus your walking/running will add horizontal momentum which will get the item/person further which is alway good as they'll have a much harder time hanging onto something for trying to get back up.

Also if you wanna throw a player I suggest you to K.O. them first so that they can't defend themselves, but if you're skilled anough you can throw people off quite fast by grabbing them from their back or feet, but it's REALLY difficult!
