i think steam can only play with steam
maybe you have to install the DRM free version too
But then i realised that it's a very early version of the game (just a couple of stages, only local multiplayer, no langages localisation, etc.). So i guess there isnt DRM free version of the full game....
But that's weird because heres what you can see on Humble Bundle today about the full release (21/01/18) (u can check, the sales are still on) : https://ibb.co/fx8ZpG
So i dunno... i guess the developers lied about it... or H.B. is mistaking... :'(
Anyway that's really anoying : that game is just lame if u play solo. Its like playing Rocket League with only bots...
If I LEGALY buy "Divinity Original Sins 2" DRM FREE on GOG, i dont want to have only the 1st early access release who's 18months old : i want the full game DRM FREE and i want access to all the updates.
its the same for Gang Beast or all the game i own with DRM FREE.
If the game is only playable on steam and cand be share, why not, most of game are like that : but in that case : dont mention that its DRM FREE...
But i bought a LOT of game on this plateform the 3 last years : and i never had any issues, but that the first game i own from thoses devs. So im not so sure its H.B. who made the mistake.
In the beggining, i was just asking for an advice, and you're the one who's coming to tell/ask me "there isn't a drm free version" : so i was just telling you : "yes there's a drm free version of that game, and i got (an old) one. And as the moment we speak right now : the full game is actually sold like its drm free."
I'm just trying to figure why i can't share the full version with my family and why i cant play with them for something i paid : that's all i'm doing!
If you can help me and you got a suggestion : thanks a lot m8 :)
If you only here only to tell me i'm whining for no reason : dont waste you're time here, have a great life and cya...
if that the case i dont have an idea and i feel robbed too because i was planning to take the drmfree version with me on a stick and play it at a friend, i not missing the online multi because we want to play local mainly anyways, but still i expected it to be the same game as on steam. and if controls differ or maps are missing thats real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
ikr! ... i cant say for sure how that working for the game currently sold on Humble (cause i bought the game in a bundle a couple years ago). But you should really check it out before buying if you intend to have the full game in drm free version. (and if you want to have access to the forthcoming updates)
Anyway i guess i'm done with this game, i had the occasion to try it with a friend on local multiplayer... and i'm glad i didnt buy it full price lol...
For a game who were being developped for so many yeasrs (4years), it still feel like its a very early access (couldnt play with xbox controler for me and keyboard for my friend), no online matchmaking (or i didnt find how to do it), absolutely no explanations on how to play the game, only 2 modes to play (versus and soccer. well there is a few more but its all same as "versus" tbh), i got bug collision all the time, and from what i can read : the online is super laggy. etc.)
Its the kind of game who look much more funny to watch when guys like videogamedunkey make a video on youtube, that actually playing the game... imo
