To change the color of your character's costume, go to "costume" from the main menu, edit, and select what you want to wear. From there, press whatever you have set to the JUMP button to change the color/shade of your costume.

As it turns out, you can't actually change the color of your clothes or accessories.

You can choose between different shades/patterns which will change to match the color of your character, and a preset with a fixed color palette (ex: the black and white ones for the panda and penguin) which won't change no matter what color your character is.

You can change the color of individual parts of your costume by reselecting it. It only changes the color of the last thing you edited.

Go to the costume option on the main menu and select new, then save the costume you want to use. You can change the colour of the person same as normal when selecting them
