How to heal and save game?
Really, only with a NPC to heal? This is not okay.

It's about doing well enough that you don't need the healing. You save the game on exit but your progress into the dungeon is lost
It will be hard at first but later on you will get dmg reduction. It's really easier after 2 hrs of grind. :D
i believe there is a perk for health regen after boss and after a room from the one gal at the base on the left you use rubies to level up for it

Bro, just git gud
There's a perk you can buy for gems that heals you for a % after every floor.
This adds up fast once you max out that perk.

Also, any time you increase you max HP, you also regain some HP.
On my last couple runs, I didn't require healing from the NPCs at all.
Heck, I was donating blood to the nurse more often than not by then.

Don't be so quick to complain before you've had a chance to understand how the game works.

Does it? The perk ends up at like 3% of your health per floor, that's going to be under 5 HP for most of the game, and it's almost impossible to get nicked for less than 30 hp even by the weakest dude in the game in one hit, and I often get walloped for quite a bit more.
There is another skill of 10% chance regain health after killing one enemy, and one more skill that drop healing after you take dmg. Anyway you have shield, you have dmg reduction, you have heal from npc. You dont really need much healing to play this game. If more healing mechanism added into the game, its just simply going to be too easy

There is a vampire ability you get during a run that actually limits any one hit from taking lore than 32 jo at once (and it can be upgraded).

Along with other defensive perks, it really all adds up.

Promise, once you get the upgrades you need, runs start getting smoother.
that is standard design for roguelite arena games. just dont get hit and you wont have a issue
there are multiple ways to heal / increase max hp (what also increases the current hp)
That is just how this genre of game works. you will get better at them as you play more. I have currently only done 2 runs in the game so far, but I completed both. the game is not too hard you just need to get better at it.
Two NPCs to heal, a stat bonus to heal per end of the rooms, various items and skills that can heal. The game isn't honestly that hard once ya get to understanding it, but the first few runs are pretty rough. Max out getting silver as much as you can stat wise to make it easier.

Yeah it doesn't take long to get stages 1-3 down to a science to where either you take no damage or take a little bit because you lost focus from eating some garlic as insurance. Stage 4 sometimes has some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the Succubi wanting to trade with you instead of getting stunned.

It's a roguelike and you're meant to die and restart a lot. There's even a quest that says you have to die 5 times and you get rewarded for it. When you die, you go home where you could finally spend your coins. You get upgrades that would make your next runs easier.
the garlics, and maxHP+ help
