can't we just have a happy ending? (spoilers)
I got the vampire ending. It didn't say much, but then again your character has zero story. It seemed to be the stock "you are the new evil" that I've seen a hundred times since the Blood Omen Kain days. Why can't we end on a positive? Like I'm the new power now and I probably am faithful so why not make a vampire church and try to do good in the world? Take in other afflicted with duel blood. Just something different.

You can. Just don't absorb fresh blood but shatter every vessel after combat.

Not really what I mean. Forgoing your power I would consider a bad end.

How? The nuns we play as are half vampires and implied to want to remain human. Accepting the power ♥♥♥♥♥ them over in the end.

Cause apparently every story out there goes with the. You Clearly Cant control yourself after you become one, so might as well become evil cause youre an animal now.

Which is complete bull, as most things have free wont, and im pretty sure if i vampire wanted to not continue on, it would find a way to "Wont" its existence.

The Whole, if its shaded black, dont mean you work for evil. just like if youre shaded white, dont mean your holy.

(just like the difference of being pure, but pure WHAT?)
I mean... Technically that WAS the good ending to Blood Omen Legacy of Kain... At least in terms of the greater impact on the world. I guess? >.>

Well its hard for vampires to have a good ending. Vampires by nature are afflicted with a thirst for blood so its hard for them to live peacefully among humans. A hunger that gets worse over time. And humans will not be able to fully trust them. They will be terrified when this vampire is going to snap and attack them for blood. While some vampires will want a peaceful life, fear and mistrust among humans will make it difficult. Then the vampire will then only feel safe among other vampires, want a vampire family that will accept and love them. Then at this stage they start turning humans into vampires. Humans then start attacking out of fear. Start of vicious cycle.

While its not impossible for vampires to be good, because of their nature it is very very hard to be good. Especially when faced with mistrust from humans which could cause some vampire to lose faith in humanity and just embrace being a vampire.

I mean it worked pretty well in vampire bloodlines. I became more powerful than most and had a happy end. Mostly I decided not to open it, but I digress. GTK makes my point well. I'm tired of the cliche where I did a noble thing and now that I got powerful because of it I will no longer be good.

Except GTK didn't get it right either, did either of you read the ending text? Your nun's will has nothing to do with it, the Queen takes her over pretty much. It being a cliche or not is irrelevant, it's consistent. The opposite holds true, you beat her without empowering your vampire side, so the Queen tries the same ♥♥♥♥ but now it doesn't work and your nun is free and has nothing to worry about, happy ending.

The queen had power. You took the power. Now you are no longer good because you have power. Did that help? It seems to imply that your vampire side is automatically evil. So my question is why can't we just have a story where it is the character that decides to be good with the power.

What would help is if you had read what other people wrote properly before responding. Read his post again.

I am literally going by your op, not the innovations you're doing after. It is very clear you didn't read the ending and don't want to admit. Yes you took the Queen's power. You became the new evil because why? Was it because of the queen or because you chose to? The ending text makes it VERY clear which one is true and you're arguing for the other, which is false.
