who cares what others think? I think it is decent but different. Does that sway you?
Kinda maybe for the price but not really. It felt like such a boring slog. Compared to dow1 and dow2 its bad.

As much of a goofy, weird, DOTA / LOL -esque mess it is, I'd spend that 8 euro on it -

IF it didn't have Denuvo.

It has though, so I won't let it on my system, even if it becomes 100% free.

no, it's not, is bad, DOW 1 and DOW 2 both has awesome storys but this is like space marines was dumb what they not are also the gameplay is really bad and sucks so much to play as Elder in this, just not fun
I like comp-stomping in Skirmish, but that might be just me.

In between of kinda and nope.
I've bought it a few days ago for singleplayer. The campaign is long and not inspiring. The switching between races during campaign is a cool idea, but here it's hard to get immersed. One mission SM, next Eldar, next Orks, switch back to SM and repeat.

Example one mission is you are SM vs Orks, next mission you're playing Orks vs SM, then you play as Eldar vs SM, than Orks vs Eldar, Eldar vs Orks and so on.

It breaks the flow when you're jumping into different perspectives with every new mission. Hard to attach to any characters. Also overall story is meh, no real effort.

It's really that bad. Skirmish is a bit better...

This game is great if you don't expect it to be exactly like the first 2 in the series. It's a ton of fun, never should have been abandoned.

Its a good campaign if youre gonna get it on sale for like 5-8 bucks.
Had I known then what I know now I wouldn't have bought it for the campaign. It's all three races together through out a storyline. No Seperate storylines for each race. Aside of that I liked using the seperate races and units.
It is the worst 40k game in the entire 2010 and 2020 decades

That's a pretty extreme statement when games like Storm of Vengeance exist, made by the developers of the infamously-terrible Ride to Hell: Retribution. Dawn of War 3 has plenty of issues, but at least it's definitively a GAME and not a mobile money printer.

NO. i'm playing through it right now and it is that bad, bad map design, bad unit builds, bad economy, some bad sound design, good art if a little cartoonish, good voice acting, i do think it has good atmosphere, but i do not think it's worth 5-8 bucks like that one guy said. i'm not very good at judging overall story.
basically just has the worst gameplay out of any RTS ever.
just watch gameplay videos to get the story.

on sale, for the campaign, it is...fine. You will corrupt your eyes, never trust the emperor again and your name will never be remembered. Ask yourself if it is worth to bear all these burdons your entire life, after playing this game.

Campaign sucks, get it for multiplayer, it's 100% worth it and you don't need 400APM to be good at it and have fun. There's a lot of strategies and things to learn, some abuses to watch out for as well, but those are usually frowned upon.
