Make terminators etc. recruitabale, and not elites
So personally, I find it really annoying that terminators ( and their equivalent in the other factions) are locked behind the elite system and not generally recruitable.

Has the possibility of them being removed from the elite system and added as a normal unit with a cap of 3 or 4 at a time been discussed?

Because these unit rosters feel a little shallow, and I miss my Terminators.

Question. Did you play dow2? Because they were lock in a similar manner. Or dow1 where you were capped at one each?

I would like to recruit them as well, many of elite units. But maaan, try to imagine that u have 5-6 term squads=enemy get rekt.

Well, see, in DoW 1 and 2. You could mod. With mods, you could have more Termies, with more Termies you have more Dakka, with more Dakka, you have more fun.

It's simple mathematics.

Wasn't always like that in DoW1. Back in the day you could have as many as your pop cap allowed.

Well,

That must have been sweet.

On a side note:You know who could really benefit from being able to build multiple terminator squads? The sorcerer king, his other troops melt like butter before Tandis the warrior.

No, they were capped to one of each.

So where is this misconception coming from? Did they change it in a patch?

The design choice with that elite units to chose from before you start is clarly just a money grab thing if u ask me look at coh2 and how many commanders they sold .. that't the plan behind it every one who does argue its good gameplay and ads diversity to choose what u want to play bevore u start the game is just talking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Is that so? Because they are talking about something that already exists, while you are just speculating.

It was possible only in DoW1 Game of the Year Edition. Maybe even Winter Assault, but I haven't played that one much yet. Dark Crusade definitely limits them as does Soulstorm.

In a way that makes GotY edition worth playing just to have a bunch of terminators and the likes. I remember enjoying having a bunch of obliterators.

No you can actually have many terminator, depending on resources and amount of kills, you can summon them easily, play TTFA 2k tickets or annhilation match and i often have two to three terminators.

My experience is mostly with dark crusade and vanilla dow, non steam version.

No idea where he is getting his information from, Original DoW did not have a cap. Yes, it was patched to allow only 1 each.

So? What is your point? You know ambiguity helps nobody, not even yourself.
