All I want is Company of Heroes with Space Marines.
If this was Company of Heroes with Space Marines This would be a 10 out of 10.
...that is all.

This. Go play DoW 2. It's literally CoH 40k version.

Deleted some rather inflammatory content. As you were.

The Elite Mod for Dawn of War 2 apparently adds a whole heap of content and balance fixes.

DOW 2 has no base building and is a smaller scale. So no DOW 2 is not 40K CoH and many were hoping that DOW 3 would be.

How about CoH-like Imperial Guards in DoW3? And DoW1-like Necrons over it.

This is why DoW 2 isn't really what I wanted.

I mean it's a good game, don't get me wrong, but it's not the same as CoH and it's probably Relic's one game with such a small scale, then CoH 2 comes to mind.

But I'd definitely say that DoW and CoH sort of nailed it when it comes to scale, even for their early time period and lower hardware requirements, which is kinda weird.

We tend to make things bigger and better but instead Relic went a step back with the sequels, and even further back with this game as it seems because to me it's nothing more than blob vs blob wars, it's not possible to establish and maintain a proper frontline like you could in DoW, CoH or hell even CoH 2, it's sort of possible in DoW 2 but not that much because of the already mentioned smaller scale.

But you would get CoH2 or DoW2 which are ass as well.
You want CoH1 which I did too, 9 years ago. To think that DoW2 deployed with the GFWL and the underwhelming everything 9 years ago, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Let's hope for AoEIV to be not ♥♥♥♥ and closer to AoE2 than nuRelic games. AoE franchise deserves better. Relic has to learn from their mistakes.

So 11hrs on your 10 out of 10 game, strange.

People look up gametime for any number of reasons. Let's not selectively apply arguments to discredit posters by their person. Instead, attack the actual arguments themselves (the merit of playtime as a validator). That way, you don't fall foul of attacking other users.

Bingo.

A lot of people wanted vDoW 2.0 and a lot of people wanted DoW II 2.0, thus Relic was never going to be able to please everyone with DoW III, so it was only logical for them to produce another formula that includes aspects of both vDoW & DoW II.

You mean StarCraft 2 and MOBAs, I mean come on, it's obvious, less RNG than previous games, more robotic unit (no dynamic movement), no sync kills, MOBA objectives with the power core bull game mode, air vents that hide units, bubble shield cover, no retreat, no suppression, SM units don't fire on the move (Tacticals should at least be able to do that without the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ doctrine).
