Just a heads up, as you're complaining about the backflips. In official GW-released fluff from this side of the year 2000, terminators can backflip from a standing position. Yes, it's been written into the fluff, and GW published it.
How could one afford all these 40k books?
Every book Black Library releases isn't a significant addition to lore at all. The vast majority of 40K novella, especially over the past 7 years or so before the timeline advanced, have been self-contained stories that shed no new light on anything in 40K. There is a lot more filler in BL stuff than you might imagine. Also, no, you don't need to read 150 books to understand Space Marines.
Go read the 40K Lexicanum if you want to look up stuff.
Or the fluff section of one of the main rulebooks. That would be enough.
Alternatively skim through the descriptions of the main factions on any of the 40k wikis
Apparently, there are Astartes whi can perform backflips in Terminator Armour, so that settles it.
both of you cant catch the fact im joking can you, I have read the rule book, I do understand most armies, but the amount of books is stupid, and most of the books add at least 1 bit of lore, but like I said, its lore, nobody but sweaty basement dwelling nerd really care about it
No, it was not overly obvious, as we could not hear the tone of your voice, or anything like that which would give it away during normal conversation. It looked like a huge exageration for sure, but such "complaints" as yours are not uncommon to hear. People making a mole out mountain out of a molehill is pretty much the norm in internet debates, in particular when it comes to "nerd subjects".
And sorry for being a sweaty basment dwelling nerd who actually enjoys the 40k setting and is not ashamed of it (view is pretty good from my basement though).
tl;dr
the warhammer community goes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over anything you say, and the people with the dickiest armies, like skitarii are fine about it, because they already act like ♥♥♥♥♥ in one part of warhammer, and know they dont need to be a ♥♥♥♥ in others
its lore, if it happens, it happens
if the tau R A P E a space marine, it happens
