Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III

Statistiche:
Wee question on the DOW3 story/timeline
I remember guys posting videos about all the Necron looking symbols/signs hinting Necrons before the game was released. Then low and beholed at end of the game the Necrons are alerted to whats happening. Is there is some kind of story Relic is obviously weaving into the story? i cant put my finger on it. What i mean is, there is Necron looking symbols/structures in the game, then Necrons alerted to the war going on? Is there a piece in the middle of all this to join together? did they once habbit this world and knew about its reappearance? Were they involved in all this somehow?. Did they trap the demon?.

i am sorry but demon wll be back soon ...... cause

1. demon in W40K are like dragon in HF u must have one in each story ^^

2. if two fleet one of necron and one of old eldar can't succed to destroy it and can just trap it how the hell a lonely jump pack terminator with a witch and a monkey can manage to deliver the finish blow ?

3. We miss the demon in a box thing

Well, the Daemonhammer's very purpose is defeating chaos daemons.
I MISSED THE BASE BUILDING EPIC 2 HOUR BATTLE LAST MISSION LIKE THE DOW1/2..... the end battle in DOW3 was kinda "Meh!". If anything in the game was, that crap was MOBA lol.

Yea it just wasnt the usual scrambling for req points, enemy with bases all over the map, under constant assault from all sides, making your brain work overtime and draining you mentally lol, by the time ya get to the end you feel like you were in the battle lol....THATS WHAT I FELT WAS MISSIN IN DOW3. There was to much based around the elites and not on the grand, proper missions where you get your ass kicked many times before you complete it.

Also the Imperium kinda flew a giant ass space ship into it. A tactic I doubt the old Eldar would "stoop to" and something the Necrons simply wouldnt bother doing. The impact from the Dauntless weakened it dramatically.

Im getting tired of the whole "we gotta team up to kill this thing" mentality as well. I liked mission 12 in this game. Mainly cause all three races were present and actively murdering one another. Actually FELT like a Warhammer 40k game.

THIS^^

SINCE THE DAM CAMPAIGN WAS SHORT, MISSIONS WERE SHORT. I WISH THE WHOLE DAM THING COULDA BEEN MISSIONS LIKE MISSION 12..... ID OF HAD A BETTER REPORT ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN THEN MAYBE :)

I certainly feel the campaign wasn't hard enough. I've almost finished my playthrough on Hard, and despite not being very good at the game and not having played much of it (like half of my hours are just me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around in World Builder working slowly on a project) I've still strolled right through Hard difficulty. Only a couple of missions so far have been close to failure, though I imagine I'm going to struggle with mission 17 because I had a hard time with that one on Normal.
Well the Necrons are pretty much the only race capable of destroying Chaos and it's Gods. They possess the means to cut the galaxies connection to the Warp The other being the Tyranids.

Really?
The demon is obviously on the Khorne side, ( dont know why the hell they went this way) it could of easily been a bloodthirster type and left at that. Instead it had no origin the eldar did not even know what the hell it was, and opened by a false Sword of Khaine...This is worse than a James Swallow tale.

The campaign was ok till the end, you wanted to bring the sorry necrons in an expansion than it would of been fitting to make the sleeping demon a sleeping Necron and that would of had more flow than a half baked chaos army with weak looking bloodletters. Man i wish somebody proof read this before they ran with it.

What did it for me was the let's unite to fight a common threat. This is 40k the darkest Sci-fi there is it almost always turns me off because even when the supposed "Good Guys" win, they do some messed up stuff like kill the civilians because they been exposed. So we got Space Marines, Orks and Eldar working together...well we already went this far lets broaden our horizon and have Gabriel and the Overseer smash...we call it Shades of Dawn (Shades of Gay was already taken.)

Yes, currently. Though Tyrannids almost never directly interact with Chaos.

Astartes typically do not have a sex drive, the Lore, however, states that Humans and Eldar sometimes crossbreed, and there are examples of such hybrids even working for the Imperium.

LIES! All lies.

Such actions are strictly forbidden and have never happened.

You know that, when you stare upon those big, blue eyes, and that redhair, and perfectly immaculate complexion, the sylvan aroma... No man can resist!
The story for DOW 3 is hard to defend, when it comes to the lore. But the lore Zealots focus on gymnastic Gabriel in Terminator armor (it is the easiest fix, just teleport him and let him drop his hammer like Thor...case closed). You dont hear nobody say "hey why are the Gorguts, Gab, and the Farseer working together thats not biblical." That is the biggest lore violation because now your making new lore.

So since we are making new lore lets have Gabriel and the Farseer do the nasty (yes i know space marines cant have sex because their gene seed is given to them before puberty) I got nothing against new lore as long as it can fit in the universe of 40k.
