Just the damned glory hounds of the empire, space marines do a quarter of the work and get all the glory anyway. One chain sword may slay many xeno over its lifetime but one of our holy rounds may slay thousands in only a moment... and we have many. The Guard were likely not included in this simulation because it simply cannot project the scale of destruction through which we regularly operate. The Emperor Protects through the fire of our guns!

Actually Space marines have their own baneblade variant, it's called "fellblade"

Yeah, there's still a few in service in M41, but some backwater Chapter like the Blood Ravens would never have one, let alone know they exist.
