Kaurava Campaign outcome?

During the DoW 3 campaign, it's stated that Gorgutz 'Ead 'Unter conquered the system. Is this the canonical ending to DoW:SS? I thought the Imperial guard won that campaign.

It was kinda muddied Relic never really said but its kinda hinted in the Blood Ravens books sooo idk anymore... Its Warhammer 40k its war eternal no one really wins in the end.

And in the Space Marine campaign it is mentioned he inflicted heavy space marine casualties in that campaign iirc.

How exactly does this prove he won kaurava?

Furthermore, if he had won kaurava, he would have had an entire system full of orks to whaaagh with, why the ♥♥♥♥ would he come alone and join gitstompa to take over his whaagh?

yeah. Gorgutz won ♥♥♥♥. At best we can infer he probably killed baldeale and probably dug up something on Kaurava III relating to acheron.
