Best ork elites?
If there's already a thread discussing this, or there's another place that discusses it, please let me know.

But what do people think are the best ork elites?

I found that gorgutz was extremely solid. Tough, grapple klaw is nice, klaw tornado, though silly, is an effective shield.

Not sure how I felt about the wierdboy. I didn't use or like him much, but I might have not given him enough of a try.

I liked the big mek, especially his scrap turret when there's a bunch of scrap around, but I think he's too dependent on massed scrap piles.

I really enjoyed the mad dread's burrow ability.

And as fun as the morkanaut was, I'm not sure how good it is, overall. By the time you can field it, seems like armies are big enough to handle it, which is probably by design. But it's good too.

IDK, I didn't find any elites that seemed AMAZING, but they all seemed useful. Anyone find a trio that they really liked?

Imo weirdboy is the best early elite cause of ability to reap huge infantry hordes, the downside is he can't deal with other elites.
Morkanaut is great with some support.
Gorgutz is probably a must have if you face a non-ork.
I didn't like mad dread nor elite nobz(only their doctrines are somewhat okay)
Stormboyz and Gorkanaut felt kind of underwhelming aswell.
Kommando is awesome even in, lategame cause of epic high dmg scrapsplosions.
I didn't feel it for Mek but he is prolly okay aswell.

Storm boyz are a good unit but shouldn't be an elite IMO.
My favourite is the Gorkanaut.

Meganobs. They can hold and push a frontline like its nothing. Insanely tanky with their force field ability. Give them a try

Da Kommando is by far my favorite!
Stealth is always nice and the stun trap works perfect with the insanely powerful shotgun, shredding every infantry unit into pieces.

Da Kommando Nob has some pretty serious synergy potential with Nob taunts/ gorgutz slow and W pull and translates well into later game too still imo.
Weirdboy is the way to go, good through the whole game, and as long as you don't leeroy jenkins him, he can even get most elites through an assist, since he can teleport and finish them if their running, stun lock them if their attacking your troops, and he's great for reaping sniper blobs, also probably the best hero for doing a come back, since he can obliterate multiple squads of infantry in just two hits, fist of gork, followed up with a teleport and scrap blast.
