No Keybind Editing?
Am I dumb or is there really no way to change the commands in the game? Vastly prefer WASD to move the camera in this type and most special commands bound to either mouse or other keys

If you remove wasd from the preset abilities, exactly where would you put them instead?
I never understood why people kept asking for keybinding when all the abilities was allready correctly set for easy access. And moving the camera is so easily done with the mouse. :)

(Oh, and nothing personal, but I would rather not have anyone on my team knowing they'd be pressing all abilities with the mousebutton. Thats like a Quake-player would use the arrows for movement, and change his weapons with the numberpanel on the side) o_O

left handed people do exist so keybinding would be a nice feature that pretty much every game includes these days. they dont have to do it all out like SCII with binds for every unit just make it a basic keybind and mouse sensitivity adjuster. not asking for much imo.

I too vastly prefer to move the camera with the WASD keys, especially in relic games where you can't f ucking zoom out

Check this. Rebinded Arrows to WASD, rebinded W and A to my mouse, don't need S and D

belive it or not, i actually like to use ZXCV (guess its my emulator habit) for abilities.

I read somewhere that you can hold alt down and use wasd to move the camera around. The lack of being able to edit keybinds though, even in some sort of format like SC2, is probably one of the least mentioned things missing in the game. If you do have a gaming mouse just setup a button to be alt for possibly easier use of this feature.

It's slightly understandable seeing as they have a somewhat similar grid system going for things similar to SC2 button wise. Definitely something they should add in.

I'm left handed and dont have any trouble with the keybinds. But should be in the game.

Guys... by default you can move the camera with wasd if you hold ctrl or alt, cant recall.

Pretty sure it's Alt.
Someone remind me though as it's been a long time but did starcraft have keybind editing in it? I know SC2 did, and I'm not bringing it up as some sort of excuse for it lacking. It is pretty rare for most games not to have this feature, especially when button heavy like a RTS.

mate some people have a mouse with more than 2 buttons you realise? they arnt "perfectly set out" at all. Custom keybinds or the ability to change controls has been around since games like street fighter 2 on the sega megadrive or mortal combat. This is just such shockingly bad development its unreal so lazy.

us 'oldies' still prefer arrow keys (it was the norm in the 80's / 90's). There's also just all those big chunky buttons near the arrow keys for additional other key binding needs :)

From one 'oldie' to another, I totally agree with you. Changing from WASD to arrows is a must!
