I really see no connection to MOBA in DOW3 whatsoever.
It's more like a WarCraft 3 game with a subtle objective based multiplayer, dressed in Warhammer 40k-style. And that's not a bad thing for me.
Yes the game is similar to warcraft 3 .
Very nice Beta
I do not see the heroes level up
You self conscious about this game for some reason?
MOBA encroaching on your territory, perhaps?
We don't need an explanation from Montreal.
What we need from Montreal, is for them to stop pumping out Assassin's Creed sequels.
And to trade Carey Price while he's still worth something. He's 29 years old.
My conclusion this games awesome . i Regret that unitie not lvl up
You be funny . I do not watch hockey. I prefer soccer
I am simply trying to explain to the illiterate person
Very Love Relic compagnie
I have long time help relic devs for fix the bug on company of heroes 2. Which allowed me to have a rare faceplate of support of the comunauty
For your information, I often go to the ubisoft studio to test the games. It's very sympathetic
I'm done.
It might not be a pure moba but its about as humanly close to one that it can be, while still roughly in the rts genre.
RTS, it is possible to create additional units and structures during the course of a game
MOBA players usually do not construct either buildings or units.
So DoTA/DoTA2 aren't MOBA because of Enigma, Techies, Shadow Shaman, Necronomicon and other heroes and items which can spawn controllable units or temporary structures?
Of course not, because the exception proves the rule, but if we apply that principle here we have to consider where else that principle should appy and where it doesn't. DoW3 multiplayer is not a MOBA, but you can't argue 'excepting the core and towers' because rather than being the exception, they are the core objectives up to now. People saying it is a MOBA though have traction because the majority of units are so inconsequential, you could almost call them 'creeps'. The fact that you have to manually build and direct them is the exception, but the rule remains the same: lots of inconsequential units, necessary but not interesting.
I don't know what nuRelic were aiming for but creating a multiplayer which has less tactical options than any previous title in the series makes it less of an RTS than they were.
