Obsessed would suffice.
Muahahaha.
You believe this pathetic patch will save you? Naive fools. I have done all i can to show you the way of truth.
Finally, someone has acknowledged that I'm the commander!
Am I missing out on something here? What are you two talking about?
I'm sorry but your overrefined space marine representation is by far retarded and within a gaming scenario will be practically stupid if not totally inconvenient within a strategy game.
Lets give you some real LORE facts,
An orc, has the capability and strength to tear a space marine apart, although Orks are 'dumb creatures' and do not understand that their links between armour are space marines weakest points.
If you want a 'lore re framed' space marine game - play space hulk : death-wing, which in my opinion is one of the most accurate 'WH40K lore games to date', as deathwing terminators are not only the first chapter - but also the strongest terminators in the known 40K universe (Excluding grey knights - as they are... very different to 'terminators').
Basically, quite whining. This is not WH40K table top game lore, this is a game end of story.
Yeah, like the serious lack of features and OP elite units in this game.
GW really stuffed the original core of lore for SM.
Just wait until they start releasing DLC for Elite units. Then the game will just be totally ridiculous.
And as stated above, Deathwing Terminators are the real essence of SM lore and what SM are really about. The short story by William King is still a favourite of mine to this day. It encapsulated everything 40K was about. Then GW took the OP model path and my interest for the TT game at least but not the genre, quickly faded.
Just as the featureless current update for this game has faded my interest in this game to 0.
As stated before, Relic is notorious for imbalancing units the first few patches which is acceptable I suppose, however, ignoring essential features for the game such as a proper zoom and better campaign play just makes me want to play UA mod instead.
I truly hope the next patch addresses some things that have been gone over many times before.
Do genestealers one-shot terminators in the lore?
A Chapter would NEVER be able to conquer a planet with a sizable hostile force occupying it, the only force in the Imperium that can accomplish that are the Imperial Guard. What a Chapter can do however is to tip the balance in the stalemate that often occurs when the Imperial Guard invades or defends a planet.
Correct me if I am wrong, but 40k is TT. The whole point of making 40k lore was to boost TT.
So if anything, the best balance (even though TT has it's moments.) would be to follow TT for stats, army make up, etc. Sure, might have to change some things around to get it to work in an RTS style, but TT's stats are there as a start.
The lore is just fluff added to make TT pretty. So you can pretend you're a space marine, fighting back the chaos around you. ;)
edit: Also makes for a good read. But I would never try to balance a game around lore.
Tabletop is based around being Turn Based though. In Real Time, it would need very different rules.
If your going to come here on claim to understand anything about the lore please quote a reference point, otherwise your only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the lore you proclaim to understand (Whch you don't).
