Play with your 360 Controller!
So i notice people want to use their 360 controllers to play the game, i personally prefer mouse and keyboard but since my mouse is beggining to die [Left button is starting to die, not good for a twitch based game] i decided to plug my controller in and configure a profile for Xpadder to use with Deadcore.

Picture here[oi57.tinypic.com]

It works perfectly! so head on over here[mega.co.nz] , enter this key "L7sx4_VaoXwx3Ujwcg9a_-FYXEDy20dEHaRy6NX3Jg0
" and download it, It's a rar file and is less than 1mb so it won't take long to download, EVERYTHING you need is within that file. ;)

Rejoice Controller users, have fun!

Virus Free[oi58.tinypic.com] for all those a little sceptical. scanned using Metascan and came out clean, though you can feel free to find your own online scanner before you open the rar.

Below is a video of the Profile in action.

Update:

[Please note, you need the files contained in the original download to use this new scheme]

"Bumper Jumper" control scheme.

Click here[mega.co.nz] and enter this Key: uFHCskNk9mf_0EeJEOpgOaT2tQ2r4_2scfZ3PFOfcMs

This is a control scheme Console FPS players may be familiar with.

Rebinds:

Blast: Left Trigger.
ADS: Click right stick.
Jump: Left Bumper.
Respawn: A

There are two settings to this updated control scheme that you can switch between using the number at the base of the Xpadder window [numbers from 1 to 9 in the bottom right corner]

Scheme 1: Same layout, ADS on right stick set to toggle.

Scheme 2: Same layout, ADS on right stick set to hold.

Southpaw [Reversed sticks]

Scheme 1: Southpaw Default.

Scheme 2: Southpaw Bumper Jumper.

Click here[mega.co.nz] and enter this key: aoWw5ak_DEj28qqdU8Hu3w1AyfLL6Ku8BWhOGboXCBk

As with Default Bumper Jumper, you need the original files in the initial upload.

[NOTE: In the Readme file i wrote "Click the icon in the top left of the window then select [DeadCore]" This was an incorrect instruction, thanks to KILLMOTRON for bringing it to my attention. The profile is to be loaded on the opposite side, see this image [oi61.tinypic.com] for the correct place to load the profile.

You can use Antimicro, but proper support would be nice... I may leave this on my wishlist until the Steam Controller ships, because I game in my living room most of the time and after many years of consoles, I don't enjoy using mouse and keyboard, and having to screw around with mapping softwares isn't my idea of fun.

Thank you very much for doing this, but I have a problem. Your read me instructions dont make sense. "Open Xpadder, Click the Controller Icon in the Top Left of the window, select open, select [My Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)] " then "Click the icon in the top left of the window then select [DeadCore]" WHAT???? Im really confused. They basically say the same thing. Where do I select DeadCore ? Is there anyway you could be more specific or maybe a video tutorial. Agian I'm very grateful for your help. I have really wanted to play this game for sometime now and would prefer to use a controller. The Devs don't seem to care as I've read many people asking for support. Thanks again. Hope to hear from you soon so I can actually enjoy this awesome game I paid for.

I guess I'll wait until there's full controler support on Linux too.

Hi! yeah that's my bad, sorry.

The "Deadcore" Profile should be loaded at the right of the window where it should say "(Untitled Profile) On initial start up, i derped while writing the Readme.

See this image[oi61.tinypic.com]

where the arrow points is where you load the Deadcore profile, sorry about the confusion.

So no support available for Mac ?
Rigatoni Apr 9, 2015 @ 5:06am
Yeah, kinda hoping they actually implement this in the game, not just for Windows, but for Linux and Mac users too.
My question on this controller support file in XPadder though is would this work in the program that I use for games that doesn't have controller support titled, Pinnacle Game Profiler, when I feel like bashing my keyboard into the screen or should I just figure out how to create one specifically for Pinnacle?

I've never used Pinnacle myself so I'm not too sure. The profile was created with Xpadder so my guess would be if you want to use Pinnacle then you'd need to create a profile for it.
Alright. I actually had to pay for Pinnacle because for some reason XPadder wouldn't work with my Windows 7 X64 Bit System. Thanks any how. I'll see what I can get done through Pinnacle as to creating one and if I am succesful I will inform the rest here about it.

Back again Fawkzi. Just letting you and anyone else know I just created a controller profile for the XBOX 360 Controller with the Pinnacle Game Profiler. It's fairly simple too. I just can't figure out how to upload it to the site so that others may get a hold of it. If anyone has any thoughts to upload this configuration kindly let me know because I can't find diddly on the site as to how to upload. By the way. This profile that I created just now actually works perfectly. Already tested and tried. Thanks again.
