FPS issues

I bought the game on sale during my annual starwars hyper fixation and I didn’t expect it to run perfectly on high graphics as I have a 4 year old gaming laptop. But even when I lower every possible setting I can (including resolution) it still stutters constantly for a few seconds.

The only time I didn’t have too big of a stuttering problem was when I went into that imperial station to wipe the data of the pykes.

The stuttering happens the worst in the main city where you accept all of the missions (im still fixing up the ship)

I’ve looked up fixes for longer then i’ve played the game and I haven’t found a thing, could someone help me out?

Thank you! I've done some of the things I've found online and my frames have improved for the most part, but i'll take a look at the links : )
