Hey BragaBR,

Thank you for kindly reaching out, sorry to hear that you are having trouble starting the game due to it closing immediately.

To rule out some common causes would it be possible to please try the following steps?

• Install Ubisoft Connect and the game on the same drive as your OS
• End unnecessary background processes via Task Manager
• All of the troubleshooting steps in this article: https://ubi.li/e4DRO

Should this then persist, would it be possible to share your system specs and any errors you get?

Many thanks

My computer is an i9 13th + 32GB DDR5 + 4070 Ti + Nvme 980 Samsung + Windows 11 and the error is that when I click on start the game it closes by itself and does not show an error message

When I try to start the game in administrator mode the game doesn't even open

Hey BragaBR,

Sorry to hear it.
Is your Steam account linked to your Ubisoft account?
Have you played any other Ubisoft game from Steam?

To check if accounts are linked, login to this website:
Ubisoft Account Management[account.ubisoft.com]

go to Account Information > Linked accounts and check if your Steam is listed there.

If not, you will need to link accounts first.

Please download and install the latest version of Ubisoft Connect from its official website: Download Ubisoft Connect[www.ubisoft.com]

IMPORTANT! Run Ubisoft Connect and Steam clients as administrator and try again:
Running applications with administrator rights[www.ubisoft.com]

Sometimes you will need to close Ubisoft Connect completely (not just minimise it to the system tray) and then launch the game from Steam, for accounts to link correctly.

This is unacceptable really. An expensive game with a lot of hype then it can't even launch? Not like I'm running a 486 LOL. I see multiple users having this issue. Good luck with the refund..

Are they going to fix this or is it just our problem now?

Same issue here. First it was random CTD after 10 minutes of playing, now it won't launch it all. I've tried running both the game and ubisoft connect as admin, tried reinstalling and even did a clean install of Windows. Installing the game on the OS drive isn't a reasonable solution. Fix please.

Random solution I found for games just generally not launching from steam that fixed it for me: uninstall display driver from device manager in windows, reboot and let windows install whatever driver it grabs for your GPU, in my case a 4070 Super. I ended up going from the latest 566.36 release to 560.94 (that windows just auto-updated to after a reboot) and that resolved my issue. Not sure if this is an actual driver issue (I'd suspect more people running the latest NVIDIA drivers would be reporting this) or just an issue with the driver install itself. I'll add that this happened both before and after a clean install of windows with the same hardware, and im genuinely surprised that it was a driver issue, or at least presented itself that way. Hopefully this helps someone having the same issue.

Hello everyone,

Sorry to hear it that our proposed troubleshooting steps did not help you.

@TacticalChihuahua, thanks for sharing your experience with the GPU drivers.

For those who still face issues, please generate diagnostic files from your PCs and attach them to a support ticket for analysis:
