Power blaster does not work after 1.5.1 update
Blaster will not fire when using power setting. This happened right after the new 1.5.1 update.

Fix: Set the 3-way trigger lock adjustment switch for RT on the bottom of the controller to the T3 position.

Hey JKneazle_Ollie,

Sorry to hear that you experienced a power blaster issue after the latest update 1.5.1.

If this is still occurring, please verify / check integrity of the game files and test it again.

If it does not resolve the issue, try Clearing Ubisoft Connect Cache[www.ubisoft.com] and reinstall the game fully.

Let us know if it helped you.
I tried all the suggestions and none of them worked.

Sorry to hear it, JKneazle_Ollie.

As we haven't seen such reports yet, please record a video of this behaviour and upload it on YouTube.

Once that's done, please use the game's dedicated bug reporter tool - https://ubi.li/SWOutlawsBugReport - and create a ticket there.

The bug reporter is monitored by the game team representatives and they will investigate this issue. Make sure you provide detailed description of it and reproduction steps.

There is an FAQ section on the bug reporter website, should you have any additional questions on how to use it.
If it helps, playing on PC with a PowerA Fusion controller and the power shot won't fire. Works fine with the mouse.

Hey respawnednx

Thanks for the information.
Has it also started happening to you after the update?

Have you tried any of the steps above?
Did you verify / check integrity of the game files?

Try reconfigure the controller in Steam Controller Setup

Disable Steam input (if you have it enabled) and see if this helps.
I just got the module for the power shot yesterday so I don't know if it worked in the previous version. I've been though the controller options in steam trying to address the intermittent LT button not working (unsuccessfully). I may try clearing caches and verifying files. Reinstalling is the equivalent of 'go away, you bother me' from the publisher/developer so I won't be doing that. I might just switch to K/M input.
Forgot to add, when using the controller, the blaster charges up it just doesn't fire.

I appreciate the update, can I check if it does continue after verifying your game files and clearing caches?

Many thanks
Did the file verification and cleared download cache. Tried direct game use of the controller and steam input for the controller but neither helped. Checked the blaster behavior again and when the RT is pressed while the blaster is in power mode, it's just drawn and aimed - it doesn't charge, my mistake.

Thank you for all the explanation, respawnednx.
Is this a wired or wireless controller?

What is the full model name?
It's possible, the game does not support it correctly. I'm happy to raise it with the game team, however, I cannot guarantee it will be picked up.
It a PowerA Fusion Pro 2 wired controller. I changed the trigger depth switch for the LT and it's working for the map list now. Tried adjusting the RT depth switch and it didn't help. Blaster is drawn and aimed in power mode but not fired. Everything else for RT functionality is working fine.

Hi respawnednx,

Thanks for the update and the additional information.

As mentioned previously, it is possible that this controller is not supported.

Do you happen to have another controller that you can test? If not could you try to see if the power blaster works using your mouse and keyboard?
I don't have another controller. The power mode on the blaster works fully with K/M. The other 2 blaster modes draw, aim and fire with the controller. It's only the power mode which doesn't complete the action. Since the other 2 blaster modes work fine, I would think the issue is not with the controller.
Ha! Changed the setting to max pull for the RT and the power mode works correctly now! Thanks for your time one this.

Great to hear it, respawnednx :)
Feel free to write a short summary in just one post in this thread on what exactly you did, so we can mark it as the answer, for other players who use PowerA controllers.

I'm sure they will appreciate it.
