Raytraced Specular Reflections
Running Max Outlaw setting, DLSS 4 Balanced with FrameGen on a 4090 and it doesent matter what other combination of settings i use, but setting Raytraced Specular Reflections to Max results in strange shimmering artefacts on certain areas of the game. Turning it down to Ultra stops it but its very odd. Anyone know why this is happening?

Might be old GPU drivers? I recall one of latest versions had similar issues with DLSS4.

On the latest driver but ive noticed this on every nvidia driver this year. Cant recall if it did it prior to the 50 series driver launch.
Yeah I also see this weird issue and im sure wasnt the case when I played it the last time last year.
Its a real shame that Massive cant fix it. Then again they still don't appear to have fixed the issue with FPS tanking big time when using the speeder with RTXDI above anything other than medium!

Hey guys, thank you for taking the time to reach out.

So we can see what you see, would it be possible to share with us a video so we can see exactly what you see and also showing your in game settings?

Many thanks in advance

Hey Jinksta187,

Thank you for the video.
Can you check if this is happening only when DLSS is enabled?
Also, the DLSS upscaler mode is set to Fixed. Can you test other modes?

No need for another video (unless you are happy to capture it), just let us know the result.

Hey @Ubi-Vinci, so changing the upscale mode (Biased / Fixed) makes no difference but if you completely disable DLSS that resolves the issue. However, this then kills frame-rate and means the game is unplayable unless i lower all the graphical settings which defeats the purpose on what im trying to solve in the first place.

I look forward to your response (and hopefully a fix). Thanks

Hi Jinksta187, thanks for letting us know! I can confirm that this is currently being investigated by our game team and working on a fix.

In the meantime, you could try verifying your game files[ubi.li] and following these graphical troubleshooting steps[ubi.li] to see if this helps resolve the problem.

Thanks so much for your patience!

Thank you for your kind words. Out of curiosity, did you notice any changes after following the steps Ubi-Mysterion advised?

Many thanks
