Start by looking at the obvious. Temperatures, clockspeeds, etc.
I don't have any problems with any other game. Currently I play DCS, and that's a graphics hog. Avatar, Ghost of Tsushima, and many other technically-intensive games. This's the ONLY game that does this, thank you.
I'm suggesting that, just maybe, it's not just my PC. I know...NEVER a blue screen without some underlying symptom. Okay, as I play other games I'm not getting a blue screen.
And you didn't mention in your OP anything about checking for temperatures and clockspeeds, only "variious solutions", implying you already made a topic about it elsewhere.
Maybe do some Memtest86+ testing, do individual stress tests (Cinebench R15, Furmark, etc). If you continue to look for the solution in the game, you're going to be searching a long time (read: forever).
On the note of not including a lot of detail in the OP, I had brevity in mind as I had to leave for work. I didn't have another topic open somewhere else. I'm one of those people that read other posts and other suggestions so I'm not adding to repeating posts that may already be open.
That thank you was for you kindly said.
I appreciate your informed suggestions.
PTM pushes itself back during thermal cycles.
Sorry to hear it Star Wars Outlaws crashes your PC.
I've read your conversation with Majestic and I just want to add some ideas.
Check the latest BIOS for your motherboard.
Check updates to the chipset and other motherboard drivers.
What power supply does your PC have? Maybe it's getting overloaded.
For the blue screen, there is free software called BlueScreenView. You can find the reason behind the crashes in it.
Have you checked Event Viewer in Windows? It may also hint at the potential reason.
Thank you kindly for replying, Ubi-Vinci. As per your instructions I checked in the Event Viewer, BlueScreenView, and even Windbg.
To qualify myself, I'm competent with computers but not this part. So a little hand-holding might be in order. Thank you.
First, I checked the Firewall & Network protection and found that Outlaws app didn't show up. I allowed the app through the firewall. I thought I had done this earlier, but apparently not. Also, I scanned for updates on my Chipset and MotherB, but it says it's updated.
As for Windbg, I'm showing dxgmms2.sys (a driver issue, I'm guessing? DirectX?)

Run it in safemode to be sure, its all explained in the application.
Can you confirm if the steps suggested by Majestic has resolved the issue?
Please let us know if you encounter any further trouble and we will be more than happy to help
Thank you kindly for replying, Ubi-WheelyDuck! Well, I unfortunately have another problem. The crashes I've not experienced yet, which I hope stays that way. However, my settings revert each time I turn the game on. I just recently noticed this.
Sorry, for the hassle. I'd much prefer to not have any problems, but alas, I'm not so lucky with Outlaws as with the other games this round. Outlaws is a lovely game, wish she would play fair with me.
