Steam Save
Got the game on Steam a few days ago, played about 15 hours or so. Had an issue that required me to reload my computer from scratch. Having never once ever needed to worry about backing up saves on a game in Steam, I of course did not back up my save game.

Now, having reloaded everything, I have no save at all. No Resume, no load game, nothing but New Game. Launched from Steam and Ubisoft Connect with no change.

Am I just screwed and have to start over or am I missing something? Are cloud saves not a thing on this game for some reason?

Hey Intabus,

Really sorry to hear it you lost your progress.
Star Wars Outlaws supports cloud save via Ubisoft Connect. Perhaps you had this feature disabled.

The game supports cross-platform progression, however, a main save must be uploaded to the cloud. If you haven't done it, and formatted your drive to re-install Windows, you most likely lost it along with all other files.

Have a look at this article: Star Wars Outlaws cross-progression information[www.ubisoft.com]

"Star Wars Outlaws supports cross-progression between all platforms.

To access your saved game on another platform, you will need to upload it to the cloud and be logged in with the same Ubisoft account

To upload your save to the cloud:

Open the in-game save menu.
Hover over the save file you would like to upload.
Select "Upload to cloud".
You will then be able to access your saved game on another platform.

Please note that you can only upload one save to the cloud at a time."
