Prolly you need to get a rtx 4090 specific gpu driver fix.
I can play for hours with max settings without issues.
But I use rtx 4070, I also force globally rebar and force sysmem fallback.
And I'm using dlss performance @1080p.
You could try a clean install of the gpu drivers.
Sadly I've tried that. Could you confirm that you are playing the game with all the above Nvidia settings on? If you read the Reddit posts, you can see that it's been an issue for many people since the game first came out (like me). Some people are saying that it effects AMD as well as Nvidia cards.
When it comes to visual settings I've turned everything to 'outlaw' quality and it runs fine. The issue is just this mysterious leak that drains the VRAM over time.
I don't use the -unlockmaxsettings, which is meant for future hardware and mostly has basically no visual difference, but a huge performance impact.
However, when I turn on any of these settings:
Nvidia Frame Generation
Ray Reconstruction
RTX Direct Lighting
Reflex Low Latency
my VRAM will immediately start to rise, within 10 minutes of game play, from the initial 10GB or so to maybe around 15-16GB within half an twenty it is well over 20GB. At times it can rise even faster than that.
It is an issue that many people are suffering with. There are multiple threads on Reddit on the issue.
Sorry to hear it and thank you for all the details.
Try experimenting with different drivers, perhaps Studio drivers will work better than Game Ready.
If nothing helps, and the memory leak continues, feel free to report it directly via the
Star Wars Outlaws Bug Reporter[www.ubisoft.com]
Please generate diagnostic files from your PC and attach them to a bug reporter ticket for analysis:

For now, I would advise you to disable some of the in-game graphics features that you can identify as responsible for the leak.
Thank you for your reply, unfortunately I have tried multiple drivers (game & studio) and it hasn't fixed the issue.
I have also previously mentioned the issue (as I am sure many other people have too) via the bug reporter and Reddit (there are multiple posts on Reddit regarding the issue) multiple times and this is the first time I have had a direct response from a developer.
As I previously mentioned above, turning off these features dramatically slows (and for some people stops) the issue:
Nvidia Frame Generation
Nvidia Ray Reconstruction
Nvidia RTX Direct Lighting
Nvidia Reflex Low Latency
Here is a recent screenshot with a couple of the features turned on and after around twenty minutes of gameplay.

I'm afraid that we will not be able to do much more here in the forum, but if you've submitted this via the Outlaws bug reporter, that's great. The game team will have visibility into it.
It was stated that the issue was fixed in the 1.2 patch (I think), but unfortunately it wasn't and is still occurring now. I am worried that the developers may think they have already addressed the issue and will not go back to it.
There are many threads on Reddit on this issue including this one in which the last response was last month:

Basically you have to run it, and continously make either screenshots or copy it into some excel, and see which pool continues to rise and never drop.
It can be something completely irrelevant to the game though.
As said by others, its not something everyone suffers from, though most 3070 8GB owners will claim it does. But for me (6800XT) it goes to 10GB and stays there.
Thanks for your response. Like I mentioned in my previous post above, I have taken multiple screenshots in game showing the VRAM rising. I think the one I posted above was at around 22GB when taken.

Multiple people on Reddit have said that they have sent screenshots showing the issue too to Ubisoft & they also 100% in belief it to be an issue with the game (not drivers etc.).
I just managed finished playing the new DLC, as turning all of the Nvidia options off usually stops or makes the leak MUCH slower for me. I have a 4090 OC so it's not too much of an issue for me, though I feel much sorrier for people who are trying to play the game with cards with much smaller VRAM (or are unable to play the game at all). Though I can not say I do not want to play with all of the options turned on including Nvidia Frame Generation as the game is meant to be played.
By the way does anyone else have extreme issues with lip syncing in this game? More importantly know how to fix the issue? It's tarnishing my enjoyment of the game as during the cutscenes it can be a good several seconds off at times.
Based on what, may I ask? Why chase your tail on assumptions, when you can easily measure it with poolmon.
Sorry to hear it you still experience VRAM issues in Star Wars Outlaws.
As for the lip sync issue you mentioned above, please create a separate thread for it.
Provide some footage if possible. Does this affect the English language version or a different one?
HI, thanks for your message. I believe I did mention the lip sync issue on a previous thread a while back. I am playing on the English language version.
Thank you for your update.
For troubleshooting, can I check if this persists if you enable / disable V-Sync?
Any trouble, just let us know
