Game keeps crashing in Wild Cards DLC
I'm playing on the Ubisoft Connect version. I'm running the game with Windows 10 Pro, i7 9700k, RTX 3090, 32 GB RAM.
The game is crashing at the same cutscene, after escaping the casino ship and landing in Toshara.

Shot in the Dark here, do you run Reshade by any Chance? It crashed (at a 100% rate) my Game in some Cutscenes until I removed it.

I don't use Reshade. I'm playing vanilla with the "-unlockmaxsettings" command in the game properties, so I could play in very Ultra setting with DLSS Performance.

Manage to pass the cutscene, but now, since I'm on Toshara, the game keeps crashing every 2-5 min.

Hey MetalDestroyer,

Thank you for kindly reaching out, sorry to hear that you are encountering these crashes.

As per the requirements of the game https://ubi.li/1YjNh it appears that your CPU does not meet the requirements to run the game using Ultra settings and thus we cannot guarantee that while it may work in 1 section at that level, it may not in others. Would it be possible to change the graphics settings to match that article?

If you find this persists, to rule out some common causes would it be possible to please try the following steps?

• Install Ubisoft Connect and the game on the same drive as your OS
• End unnecessary background processes via Task Manager
• All of the troubleshooting steps in this FAQ article: https://ubi.li/e4DRO

Any trouble, just let us know 🙂

Hey, before the patch, I didn't have any crash. It happens only now.
After looking to the event viewer, I got a warning regarding an issue with low Virtual Memory.

So I reduce the in-game setting. Sure, I could play without any crash. But I would really like to play with max setting. So, I don't know what the new patch are doing.

Hey MetalDestroyer

Thanks for your answer.

If you are running out of virtual memory, please check your Windows page file settings. Even with 32GB of ram it should not be disabled, as Windows applications may need it occasionally, and crash, when not present.
