fist vs guns

It doesn't matter, this game is so easy a toddler or a journalist can beat it in hard mode by just mashing buttons in any combat situation

That's a common theme in games of all sorts - because melee weapons have very little range, they tend to do more damage and stagger.

That said, I doubt they do more than the grenade launcher and when a sniper rifle can kill from the other side of the compound, it saves the work of sneaking up and punching someone.

Yeah, fists seem to be the stronger than guns, she can punch a guy unconscious even while he's wearing full armor

I went through the whole game not shooting anyone except when forced for tutorial reasons. Its potent. Especially if you get Nix helping.

I've never seen my fists 1 tap 5 people in a row from 100'. My sniper can do that just fine.

The down side to punching is you have to be out of cover to do it which makes you a big ol' target for everyone to shoot.

So while yeah you can punch out a stormtrooper with a 3 hit combo...it's probably better to shoot them in the face from a safe distance

It is one punch if you stun gun them before punching. Works on death troopers too, and the cartel equivalent.
