Help with Demo.

Just started the demo and went looking for Hoss at an abandoned moisture farm. I'm supposed to open a door and the only thing I seem to be able to interact with is a panel I can have Nix open.

It says press 2 to switch to Ion, I do that. What am I supposed to do next? I've tried using the Ion blaster on the thing behind the panel, but nothing happens and it still just says "press 2 for Ion"

The Ion Mode of your blaster triggers a door right beside the object you must blast while Nix holds it open(briefly). and then you can go into the room with two devices overhead you must also hit with the Ion blaster mode.
