Star Wars Outlaws

The future of Star Wars games
As far i know there are 2 AAA SW games in development: KOTOR 1&2 remake by Saber Interactive and Eclipse by Quantic Dream.
Which one are you most looking forward to?
Personally both games have me feeling pretty excited at this early stage and i can’t say which one i favour over the other.

Either of them that took outlaws failure as a warning to do better.

The Quantic Dreams one sounds very appealing.
And still hoping for SW Outlaws II, though
I know Quantic Dream games aren’t for everyone but i enjoy them for what they are; more of an interactive movie.
Kotor is my favourite SW game of all time. Imagine playing that game with modern graphics and optional real-time combat. Yes please!

I doubt Outlaws will get a sequel after how poorly it’s solved, but if
Ubisoft survive AssCred Shadows who knows? It’s possible they make a new SW game one day.

Did they say that they would include the possibility of real-time combat? That would be great.

No, they haven’t. I’m just speculating and hoping. Didn’t FFVII allow the choice between traditional turn based and modern realtime combat?

That’s the way to do it, that way you please the traditionalists and the modernists.
I want to see the game placed on indefinite hold, Star Wars 1313, come to fruition.

Many assume it was canceled, however, in 2022 Bobba Fett gameplay was leaked onto YouTube so there is a rough alpha build at least which Lucas Arts hasn't scrapped.

I'm not into QD type of games anymore and I'm completely indifferent to the KOTOR 1&2 remakes. Recent direction of the franchise has been less than inspiring.

Honestly, I don’t have much interest in playing as a non force user.
