Turn off idiotic voice over settings crap

Just bought this game and already irritated with bombardment of nonsense to do with settings. Idiotic voiceover is no help at all how do I turn it off?

Im determined to try to get a feel for the game but staying within the 2 hours so I can refund it if necessary. I just want to get into the game so i can decide to keep it or not. What I dint want is to be bombarded with a load of time consuming ubisoft/uplay settings crap.

Just take a deep breath. Step away from the pc. Pour yourself a nice mug of chamomile tea. Once you've calmed down a bit, return to the computer and follow the onscreen instructions. If that last step continues to prove difficult, repeat every previous step again.

You know what that doesn't help one single bit, so say something useful or not at all. How do I turn off this useless voice over crap?

Your'e right though I am stressed out. 2 hours for a game like this passes in no time which is why I need answers to questions QUICK and not more nonsense.

Read the screen. The option to turn it off is literally right there. If you were too impatient to actually pay attention and just came her to complain, that's on you. Just check the settings like a normal person.

I cannot see anything obvious on the screen to turn off the voice overs.

I am a new player and all this layered options makes no sense to me.

So please tell me how I turn it off.

Iv'e looked under language settings, audio settings. Nothing is obvious to tell me how to turn voiced over stuff off. where I am supposed to go to turn this off?

I just loaded up the game and went to Settings > Accessibility Presets > Vision and the option was there.

Did you check the hearing setting.? Voices are mostly heard by the ears.

Why would menu voice over options be an option for HEARING. If you are hard of hearing you wouldn't be able to hear them. It's clearly an option for someone who has issues with their vision. You know - so they can hear the menu's being read off as they may have trouble seeing them.

That worked.

The menu system is not helpful nor logical for a new player.

I'm sure that for someone who is familiar with how things are done in the game it is logical, but for a new player with no idea it is not obvious at all.

None the less I am grateful for your help :)
